After going through cancer treatment last year, I wanted something to reflect what I had been through. I saw Kriket's work at Manly markets several years ago and it had always stayed in my mind.
I am not the same person I was before cancer. I love the idea that sea glass is buffeted by the currents of the ocean and it becomes transformed into something beautiful and resilient.
I contacted Kriket about making something customised. Kriket was onboard immediately. She completely understood where I was coming from. She has an amazing eye for design and a kind and generous heart. Her suggestions were wonderful and together we worked through various ideas until my stack of silver and gold bangles were each unique but worked so well as a whole.
I adore my finished pieces. They are exquisite. I can see my journey on my wrist every day. Kriket made the whole experience of ordering custom very special. I felt that this went past just being a commercial transaction, but rather it was a joyful experience due to Kriket's wonderful empathy and intuition. I was really touched by Kriket's dedication to making my order meaningful. She is extraordinary and I am very thankful that our paths crossed.
